Funds sought for gippsland lakes tourism push
The government will seek new funding for Queensland's gippsland lakes tourism drive – which has been estimated to cost an estimated $100 million, the Sunday Mail can reveal.
The Queensland government's budget also includes a $20m injection into the National Health and Medical Research Council's Clinical Development Fund, and $15m for a new research lab that will allow the Government to identify new and promising research projects for future innovation centres in the state.
