But she told the BBC that she had 'nothing to hide' after speaking to her doctor and that she had not been raped by any of the boys involved.
She made no mention of the fact that in the days after the horrific abuse, she was forced to move from her home and was told that if she didn't move, she would be arrested, beaten up and sent off to be locked in a foreign country to die.
She said: "I never wanted to leave that house, I hated it that way. I used to think: 'Well, then you will die, you will never come back here again, you will never be seen again, you will be like that.'
"And as I am now an adult, I just realised there is so much more to the whole situation."
Mrs Higgs's statement was published by the BBC's Newsnight programme on Monday night.

Since January 2008 the number of sexual abuse incidents reported to the Metropolitan Police has reached 6,000 and includes 1,746 sexual offences against children.
